Last updated: October 9, 2026.
The service
ossscanner.org analyses public source code with AI models and produces reports about possible security vulnerabilities. Reports are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not a security audit, certification or professional advice.
Acceptable use
- Scan only public repositories you're allowed to access.
- Don't use reports to attack software or systems you're not authorized to test.
- Don't try to bypass rate limits, overload the service or access other people's reports.
- Don't enroll a project you don't maintain.
We may refuse or stop scans, block abusive users and remove projects at our discretion.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damage arising from the use of reports, including missed vulnerabilities, incorrect findings or patches that introduce problems. Always review patches before applying them.
